Lydia holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies and journalism as well as a masters in French from the University of Mississippi. She also holds a Certificate de Langues et Cultures Françaises from Université de Lausanne, Switzerland. She is a certified K-12 French teacher in the state of Mississippi, and has taught French at Oxford High School since August 2020. Lydia spent two years living in France: one year as an Assistante de Langue, teaching English in a French high school in Le Mans, France; and her junior year studying abroad at Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier, France.
